  • Queries keep disappearing

I've seen several posts regarding queries disappearing but the posted resolutions do not resolve my issues.   Here's the scenario.   I have several queries that pull data from an ORACLE database (using MS Access 2000).  There are several queries that filter out data which are built of of the previous query (e.g., query 2 off of query 1, query 3 off of query 2 and so on.  WHen I open the database the queries are there.  When I open the form that pulls the data from ORACLE, the queires that build the dataset disappear except the first one in the chain.   If you go into the querie tab, they're there, but the minute you click on tables tab or forms tab, then return to queries tab, they are gone.   There is no code deleteing querydefs either so I'm not sure why they are disappearing.   The ones that get deleted are inconsistent.   Query 1 and 3 gets deleted sometimes, then queries 2 and 4 get deleted other times.  Sometimes all of them get deleted.   I've taken this database and created a new one and imported all the objects to start a complete (fresh) database thinking maybe the system tables are corrupted, this did not resolve the issue.   Compacting and repairing is not resolving the issue either.  Data is being extracted via a System DSN (ODBC) to a very large ORACLE database.  One other thing.  No error messages are returned when the form finally opens.  It is just blank with no data.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
