A new version of the FoggyValley blog skin is available for download. Here is a list of new features and changes.

Added blue and green shades of the theme

Added avatars in the comment section

Added rating control at the top of the post page

Added the 'Edit' link at the bottom of blog posts

Replaced categories with tags

Added CSS for printing

Multiple CSS modifications

I've just uploaded a new version of our BlackSun Community Server blog skin. We tested it with CS 2.1 only, however I think it should work with CS 2.0 as well.

Here is a list of things we changed in this version:

FoggyValley blog skin has been updated

The FoggyValley skin has been updated. The updates for the other skins will follow.

The Article category has been removed (the latest version of CS uses same categories for articles and posts)
Added permalinks for individual comments
The "Your comment or rating has been received. However,?" message is now displayed after a user posts a comment

All our blog skin have been updated to work with Community Server 2.0 beta 2. We also made a few minor UI changes and bug fixes. The skins can be downloaded from the following pages:

Our WhiteNight blog skin now can be used with Community Server 2.0. It has been tested with CS 2.0 beta 1. We are going to test it with CS 2.0 beta 2 in a few days and once CS 2.0 is released, we will test the skin again, and make changes if necessary.

If you are using Community Server 1.1 you can download the previous version of the WhiteNight blog skin.

We've released a new version of our FoggyValley blog skin that now is compatible with Community Server 2.0 beta (build #51107). Once CS 2.0 is released, we will test the skin again, and make changes if necessary. The download URL and setup instructions can be found on the following page.

New .NET Monster features

Last night we added a couple of interesting features to the website. Now when browsing list of the discussion threads you can navigate to Unanswered and Popular threads using tabs. You can also switch to the Titles Only view with thread titles displayed without the first message preview.

BlackSun skin is ready for CS 2.0

We've updated our BlackSun blog skin for the next version of Community Server. The skin is now compatible with the CS 2.0 beta (build #51107). If you are running the beta version of Community Server, you are welcome to use the blog skin on your website. Once the CS 2.0 is released, we will test the skin again, and make changes if necessary.

.NET Monster ported to ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL 2005

We've ported .NET Monster to ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL 2005. You won't find much new features in this release, as our goal was to move the website to .NET 2.0 and make sure it works properly. As a side effect of this upgrade, you may find that you need to re-login in order to gain access to the site member features.

ClearSky blog skin for Community Server 2.0

Today we have uploaded the updated version of the popular ClearSky skin.

The skin has been updated to work with Community Server 2.0. Please note that it has been tested only with the recenly released first beta version of CS 2.0 (build #51107). Once the final CS 2.0 is released, we will test the skin and make adjustments if necessary.

If you are still using CS 1.1 and do not have ClearSky in your blog skin collection, you can always download the previous version of the skin ClearSky 1.1

I am excited to tell you that we updated .NET Monster last night. The new build has many new features, and we hope you will enjoy them all. Here is a short summary:

Added Enable email alerts link to the discussion thread pages. You can now use it to set up e-mail notifications that you receive when someone posts a new message to a particular discussion thread.
Added Single Message discussion thread view.
Added paging for the List view.
Merged the Tree and Collapsible Tree views.
Added paging to the My Latest Messages page.

New blog skin

We have developed a new blog skin called MoonLight. It is available to all the members who host their .NET related blogs with us. To use it simply open your blog setting panel and select the skin from the drop down box.

If you host your Community Server blog in different place you can download the skin from the following page.

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that we are working on quite a few new website features. The website update should take place next weekend.

Here are a few most noticeable of the new features:

One more view is added to the discussion groups.
Added paging for the List view.
Merged the Tree and Collapsibe Tree views.
