After few years hard working, Iranian Aeronautics and Space Administration (IASA) managed to launch the first rocket into space to mark the opening of its first space center under the name of Kavoshgar on <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:date Month="2" Day="4" Year="2008">Monday, 4th Feb 2008</st1:date> at <st1:time Hour="12" Minute="25">12:25pm</st1:time>.

Few could not believe, but then many others were happy and proud of this first success program.

Apparently IASA plans to launch the Omid Satellite, a Remote-Sensing Satellites in June 2008.
