I need to do repair work on the floor of my 1995 Chaparral. The area that is giving the most problem is around the ski compartment opening. Do I have to pull out the entire floor? Is the whole floor made of plywood? The carpet is in bad shape as well and someone told me to just lay down another sheet of plywood over top and epoxy the whole floor and then put carpet back down if I wanted it. Is this a good idea?
